Air/Power and Light Trailer 12-51

This unit's primary duty will be to provide the ability to fill air bottles when on the scene of a house fire or large brush fire. The unit also has electrical generation capability and lighting to provide power and light on any major incident.

This trailer was funded by the 2006 Assistance to Firefighters grant provided through the Department of Homeland Security http://www.firegrantsupport.com, and through the generous donations of our community. The total cost of this trailer was nearly $78,000.00 and was only part of the grant which also included state of the art air packs and bottles for our members. This acquisition will allow for better safety for our firefighters when on-scene and will enhance our ability to save lives and property in our communities served.
